How to play:
While on the map screen, you can select a level by moving the character on the numbered nodes and pressing Enter.
Your objective in each level is to find the green springboard, while making it through various traps and obstacles.
Your main weapon is the frisbee - with it you can break blocks (green blocks sometimes
contain bonuses) and destroy enemies.
The controls are simple - the Jump key jumps, the Fire key launches the frisbee (hold it down for more power) and
the arrow keys move the character. Use the up and down arrows to aim the frisbee up and down.
The blocks with '?'s on them often contain weapons. When you get a special weapon,
you can revert back to the standart frisbee by pressing the Switch key.
When you finish a level, a new one will be unlocked on the map screen.
Sometimes, when you step on a blank node, a random battle will trigger (with a mini-boss).
Your hearts refill after beating each level, but be careful not to lose them in the mini-boss fights.
At the end of each world (there are six worlds total), you must fight a boss in order to progress to the next one.
After you complete a world, your progress will be saved and your maximum hearts - increased by one.
Each level is filled with a certain number of bonuses - to complete the level at 100%, you must collect them all.
Some levels contain well-hidden gems. Find enough gems and you will unlock bonus content in the Unlockables section.
There are various other secrets in the game - good luck finding them!

X - Charge frisbee (or other weapon)
A - Switch weapon
The keys listed above can be changed from the main menu.
R - Return to the map screen, but only if you're replaying an already passed level.
If not, what happens is a surprise!
M - Toggle on/off music and sounds
ESC - Pause/Quit
Alt+Q - Boss key (fast quit)
F7 - Show/Hide FPS (frames per second - if it's below 65, the game is running slow)
F4 - Full Screen/Windowed mode (Windowed mode is recommended)

Known issues :
If you get "Unexpected error when running the game." or a black screen when starting Purple -
it's most likely a video card incompatibility. I'm sorry.
Also, the game will probably not run under Wine and other Windows emulators.
If you're experiencing slowdown, try closing some heavier things like internet browsers, chat windows
and BitTorrent clients.
Sometimes (but rarely) the game will crash when you go to a map screen from the main menu.
If the game window starts minimized, the music may not load properly.
