Running the game and framerate problems
Every effort has been made to ensure this game plays on as wide a variety of computer specifications as
possible, the higher the spec of your machine the better but if you are within the parameters of specifications stated in the System Requirements section you should have no problems at all running and playing the game, the game will actually play on a lower spec than the minimum stated but the framerate will be very slow, if you have a lower spec machine you could try reducing the screen size and mode by scrolling down the Game menu to Choose Screen Size/Mode, from there you can choose the option that most suits your set up, you will also notice that there are two boxes VRam Needed and VRam Present, VRam is Video Ram and the VRam Present box shows how much you have available to run the game, the VRam Needed box shows how much VRam is needed for each of the mode options you can chose, if you click on the different modes available you will notice that the VRam Needed figure will change, choosing the mode closest to the VRam Present figure is the best option.
Load/save problems
If you follow the Loading/Saving games instructions you should have no problems at all but there can be
problems of game saves not working properly if you save over an existing game save rather than deleting it first, if you do get problems saving games you will have to recreate the SAVE folder, the first thing to do is delete the save folder inside the main game folder, also in the main game folder you will notice there is a winzip file called SAVE, just unzip this in place of the original SAVE folder and you will be able to load and save games again.
Note:- If you have to recreate the save folder your original game saves will no longer be present.

Getting started
|
To start the game go to the Game menu and scroll to Start New Game.
Saving and loading games
Saving
To save a game during play press Alt then scroll down the Game menu to Load/Save game,
select the first Vacant space by clicking on it then type what you want to call the save in the Game description box and click the Save button, always return to the game by highlighting the saved game and clicking the Load button.
Important
Always save into a vacant space, if you use all the spaces you will have to save into an already
used space but make sure you Delete the save in that space by highlighting it and clicking the Delete button before saving to it again. Do not save over an existing game save as this can cause saves not to work. If you are saving a game before quitting save it as described above then load the game you just saved and quit by pressing Esc, that way you will ensure that the save is valid.
Loading
When the splash screen menu loads go to the Game menu and scroll down to Load/Save game,
highlight the required game save and click the Load button. |
Trouble shooting
|
The game is played from the First Person perspective which means you view the environment from the eyes
of the player and moving the mouse moves the player's head altering your view. |

Additional information:- If you come across an elevator in the down position just
stand on it and it will activate itself raising you to a higher level but if you come across an elevator that is in the up position and you are at the bottom just walk up to the elevator block and touch it to make it lower itself to the down position, note it may take a second or two before the elevator begins to move.
